BREATHING SPACES. A NEW DEVELOPMENT

You will have had details through your letter box about this new venture, which will make such a difference to a neglected part of Haile village.  

Yesterdays open afternoon provided - apart from more of the home made cakes for which events at Haile are renown - a wonderfully friendly and informative get-together for adults and children alike.

The range of displays is to be left up in the Hall, so, if you didnt  get the chance to call in yesterday, you have missed the fun but you will be able to find out more about this project.

There is a great enthusiasm for the scheme both as an atrractive place to walk and as a relaxing meeting point to sit and watch the world go by, or whatever parts of the world happen to pass through Haile.

And there are opportunities to get involved if you are that sort of person.

OWLS

Are owls your interest?  Sue Thurley of Muncaster owl Trust has suggested that we might like to form a local group to observe and report on owls in our district.

The purpose is to help her monitor owl populations in several areas, as she cant herself be everywhere at once!  It will involve enthusiasm rather than any great commitment!

So if you would like to belong to such a group please contact Norman on 841340 and he will add your name to the list of people who have already expressed an interest.
